Spanish FrameNet Process

Spanish FrameNet tasks:

identify the frame elements belonging to the frame that underlies each lexeme,

find the phrases instantiating those FEs in the sentences that are to be annotated,

label them with appropriate FE names, and

collect the constellations of phrases (described both semantically and syntactically) and display these as the constructional description of the lexeme.

Departures from this initial definition of the task have been necessitated by certain realities:

some FEs are realized in phrases outside of the target's maximal projection,

some FEs are conceptually present but syntactically "missing",

some constituents seem to satisfy more than one FE, and

some FEs are realized lexeme-internally (incorporated)
